6.2 cm (2.5”) tilt LCD
For enhanced viewing and operation, a tilt screen features at the heart of the SELPHY CP800 operation. With support for 8 languages, images can be viewed easily and printed with a simple press of a button.
Prints in under 1 minute
Dye sublimation technology features in the SELPHY CP800 to give superb depth and gradation of colour, providing lab quality prints without the hassle and wait. A postcard-size print, for example, can be made in approximately 47 seconds.
Range of print sizes
The SELPHY CP800 is capable of producing postcard (148 x 100mm), L (119 x 89mm), and credit card (86 x 54mm) sized prints in super-quick time.
Automatic Image Correction
With Face Detection Technology, Auto Red-Eye Correction plus i-Contrast and Noise Reduction, the SELPHY CP800 can improve the quality of the print output no matter what brand of camera was used to take the image. It automatically controls the brightness of the image resulting in the best possible printed result.
Print from memory card, camera and USB stick
Print swiftly by either connecting the camera directly to the printer or by inserting a memory card into one of 3 card slots available. The SELPHY CP800 also supports printing from USB flash memory sticks, providing the user with even greater flexibility.
100 year prints
Long-lasting prints are made possible thanks to a special protective overcoat which is laid on top of each print to protect it against splashes, spills and fading and will last up to 100 years when stored in an album.
ID Photo and Shuffle layout
Extending the layout of available options, users can print a range of ID photo sizes on one sheet of paper. Shuffle print arranges a selection of images on to the canvas for an interesting and creative layout.
Optional battery
Allowing you to take your SELPHY CP800 with you, indoors or out, the optional NB-CP2L battery pack will print 36+ postcard size prints on a single charge.
Software with voice guidance
Creative software with easy to follow voice guidance allows you to add frames and decoration to your prints.

Image Longevity
|
¹ To test the image permanence of prints that are stored in an album, we use an accelerated testing method similar to how the image permanence of silver-halide photo papers are measured when stored in dark places. Print samples are printed with the optical density of 1.0 (each Bk, C, M,Y). The samples are kept in a certain environment of high temperature and 50% humidity. The rate of the decrease in the optical density and rate of yellow discoloration are recorded. The recorded results are then converted to the length of time when print image is kept in an environment of 23℃/ 50％ humidity. 'The point where monochromatic/ reflective optical density shows loss of 30% (starting density of 1.0).
